Our community is diverse, but some common beliefs include…

Our Statement of Belief and Purpose, written by our church’s founders in 1968, has aged quite well! It’s remarkably consistent with what we believe today.

As Episcopalians, we are followers of Jesus Christ. We believe in a loving, liberating, life-giving God: Jesus sets us free from everything that diminishes and degrades a human life. ALL are welcome -- we mean that!

Everyone is a beloved child of God and worthy of dignity and respect. No exceptions. We take our baptism seriously, and take seriously Jesus’s call to love and serve our neighbor.

Everyone is on a journey with God. (The majority of us came from other Christian denominations.) The Bible and Book of Common Prayer guide our life in common. We are part of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

Science and faith are not mutually exclusive. Doubt is part of the journey of faith. God gave us an intellect that can handle nuance. More than one thing can be true at the same time.
